Valv-Pac is a crinkle formed pure graphite tape. Available with or without Adhesive backing for ease in application Valv-Pac conforms to stuffing box's that suffer from slight ovality deformation.

To apply Valv-Pac in a valve replacing packing, it must be first wrapped around the stem until the needed thickness is obtained (fig1) Then pushing and compressing the wrapped Valv-Pac with the gland follower into the stuffing box. The tape will adapt itself perfectly to the chamber realizing the exact shape and sealing. If the existing sealing ring must be temporarely re-sealed, create a light over thickness wrapping the adhesive tape around the existing ring. Then push it into the chamber with the gland.

Pre-formed Valve Bonnet Packing Rings formed from high purity graphite tape laid into a die and compressed under extreme pressure. For larger rings and high pressure applications inconel wire is in-laid to add extra strength.
